Location: BelfastSalary: Competitive salary and benefits packageSummary:We are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a large, fast-paced multinational retailer warehouse operation to work any 5 from 7 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in an operational environment and has a proven track record of managing large teams, driving performance, and delivering operational excellence. Reporting into the General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring productivity, service, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved while developing and engaging your team.Key Responsibilities:Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing environmentManage, motivate, and develop a workforce of over 120 employees through frontline managers and team leadersDrive operational performance through effective KPI management and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure productivity, quality, and customer service targets are consistently achievedAnalyse operational data and implement improvements to maximise efficiency and reduce costsManage labour planning, resource allocation, and operational budgetsBuild a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and employee engagementEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company proceduresWork closely with senior leadership and support cross-functional business initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practice across the operationKey Skills/Experience:Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or Senior Warehouse ManagerExperience managing teams of 120+ people within a fast-paced warehouse environmentA hands-on leader who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, supporting and developing teamsStrong commercial awareness with experience managing operational KPIs, productivity, and cost controlDemonstrable experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational efficienciesExcellent leadership, coaching, and people development skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to make informed operational decisionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working within a demanding logistics, retail, FMCG, or 3PL environment is highly desirableProcessing Your DataBis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
