Our client is seeking a dedicated Grounds/Maintenance Manager to take charge of their extensive site in Perthshire. This is a permanent role where you can make a real impact, bringing your expertise to a unique and rewarding environment.What you will get in your new role A competitive salary of £34,000 per annumA stable working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pmSome weekend work, overtime, or on-call duties may be required to ensure the smooth operation of the siteThe added benefit of accommodation provided a comfortable static caravan suitable for one personResponsibilities in your new role as Grounds/Maintenance Manager As our Grounds/Maintenance Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the impeccable upkeep and smooth operation of our client's site. Your responsibilities will include:Leading and supervising the grounds maintenance team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the sitePlanning and carrying out landscape maintenance programmes, including mowing, strimming and weedingSafely operating, maintaining and overseeing the use of grounds maintenance machinery and equipmentConducting routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and areas requiring repairLiaising with the Park Manager and external contractors to coordinate maintenance workEnsuring full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures at all timesManaging the inventory of tools, equipment and maintenance materialsScheduling and prioritise regular maintenance tasks to maximise efficiencyMaintaining the grounds to the highest standards of appearance, cleanliness and safetySupporting the continuous improvement of the site's outdoor spaces and overall presentationYour personality, experience and qualifications You will have proven experience in landscaping maintenance, grounds repairs and team supervision.
