Job Role: Mobile Plant FitterLocation: Grays, EssexSalary: £55,000-£65,000Hours: Monday – Thursday, 07.00 – 18:00, Friday 07.00 – 16:00Job Type: Full time, PermanentAbout the Client:Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established national plant hire firm to support their team expansion. Our client is looking to onboard an engineer from heavy plant experience. They offer a comprehensive training scheme with the opportunity to go into a field role in the future.The Package:20 days Annual Leave + Public HolidaysFull training and ongoing developmentOpportunity to gain various certifications (LOLER, CSCS etc)Company van + fuel cardQuarterly bonusesChristmas shut down and bonusesThe Requirements:Previous experience working on construction plant machinery (excavators, dozers, wheel loaders etc.)Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)Previous direct manufacturer experience or trainingElectrical and Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experienceCapability to work on your own and manage your own workload efficientlyRelevant qualifications, NVQ or City and Guilds in Construction Plant Maintenance or Land Based EngineeringFull UK drivers' licenceThe Responsibilities:Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
