HGV Class 2 Driver - Warrington, CheshirePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire .This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, paid breaks, guaranteed minimum shift pay and ongoing work with a leading logistics business.This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver .Rates of Pay:£17.13 per hour (standard 48 hours)£25.70 per hour (overtime after 48 hours)Minimum of 12 hours paid per shiftAll breaks fully paidShift Pattern:As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will work:Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working)AM shifts: 01:00 - 04:00 start timesPM shifts: 14:00 - 18:00 start timesBenefits:Your benefits as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:Ongoing work with a leading company in the industryExcellent hourly ratesMinimum 12 hours paid per shiftAll breaks paidWeekly payComprehensive training programmeOpportunity to work with an established and reputable businessDay-to-Day Duties:Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:Working rotating shift patternsDriving Category C vehicles safely and efficientlyCompleting 6-7 product deliveries to stores across the UK each dayEnsuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journeySafely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into storesTaking photographs to document successful deliveriesProviding excellent customer service at delivery locationsReporting any customer concerns promptly to managementCompleting vehicle checks and reporting defects where necessaryEssential Skills:To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:A minimum of six months' experience as a Class 2 DriverA valid UK Category C Driving LicenceA valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph CardNo more than six penalty points for minor offencesNo major endorsements, including DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99Strong customer service and communication skillsGood spoken and written EnglishExcellent timekeeping and reliabilityTraining:First-day assessmentTwo weeks of training alongside an experienced permanent team memberIndustry-related training providedOngoing support and development throughout your assignmentPeople Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
