With 5 companies and 700 employees, we work across a wide variety of industry sectors, being the trusted logistics provider for many of Irelands, the UKs and Europes leading manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.Role overview:Reporting to the QSHE Manager this role supports the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards across the Group. You will liaise with directors, managers and staff providing an advisory service to ensure compliance to all. The successful applicant will be self-motivated with the ability to identify new opportunities, have the ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. They will be familiar with HSQE management procedures with excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills.Key responsibilities will include:Support the QSHE Manager, Group Companies & Departments in the review and creation of quality, health and safety and environment documentation, such as policies, operating and safety procedures, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and environmental aspects and impactsConduct QSHE audits, prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements to enhance complianceOrganise and deliver QSHE InductionsIdentify and evaluate potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risksAssist with the provision of QSHE, security and product safety awareness programmes to staff through various campaignsDeal with QSHE enquiries from internal and external sourcesInvestigate incidents, accidents, safety concerns and near misses to establish root cause, implement corrective / preventative actionsCollaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.Undertake random spot checks across the GroupTravel to group locations and customer sites in GB & Ireland as neededEssential CriteriaMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar roleExperience working to/with ISO standards (ISO 9001,14001 & 45001)Working knowledge of current Health and Safety standards & legislationNEBOSH Certificate, Environmental Health degree or equivalent.Desirable CriteriaISO internal auditor qualificationKnowledge of BRC Global Standards or Food Safety Standards Whilst the desirable criteria above would be advantageous, candidates that are actively working towards or willing to work towards achievement of the qualifications mentioned will be considered.Benefits:Attractive salary33 days holidays per yearFunded development opportunities to obtain ISO auditor and NEBOSH qualificationsFully funded health plan with HealthshieldLong service recognitionCycle to work schemeRole specific trainingFor more information and to apply:Complete our online application formEmail your CV toCall 07741 756520 OrText RECRUIT and your name to 66777Our Diversity and Inclusion commitments:Woodside Logistics Group is committed to having an inclusive workplace where every employee feels they belong.
