We're looking for anElectrical Technician to join our Area 4 M&R team based in Area 4.Location: Area 4 - Stanford Depot, M20 Junction 11, Honeywood, Kent, United Kingdom, CT21 4UXHours: Full time - 40 hours per week, days and nights, rota agreed locallySalary: £38,806 per annumWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.Join our team as an Electrical Technician and play a vital role in maintaining and improving streetlighting assets across the region. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in electrical maintenance whilst working on diverse and meaningful projects.What will you be responsible for?As an Electrical Technician, you'll be working within the Electrical team, supporting them in delivering routine preventative and reactive maintenance on streetlighting assets. Your day to day will include:Carrying out maintenance and construction works on streetlighting equipment in accordance with contract requirementsEnsuring all work is completed safely, following risk assessments, method statements and quality plansRecording and documenting work accurately to support performance monitoringSupporting the health, safety and environmental team by reporting incidents and maintaining safety recordsWorking collaboratively with the wider team to promote a 'right first time' cultureWhat are we looking for?This role of Electrical Technician is great for you if:You hold an ECS Card and Full driving licenceYou have experience in streetlighting operations and electrical systems maintenanceYou're skilled at managing projects within tight time and budget constraintsYou have strong problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of risk managementYou're committed, adaptable and thrive in collaborative team environmentsRewards and benefitsWe're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
