This Inclusive Coach / Intervention Specialist (SEN) role is ideal for someone who enjoys working creatively and flexibly to understand each child's individual strengths and needs.T he RoleAs an Inclusive Coach / Intervention Specialist (SEN), your responsibilities will include:Delivering personalised one-to-one and small-group interventions based on individual pupil needs and support plans.Adapting learning activities, resources and teaching approaches to help pupils overcome barriers to accessing the curriculum.Promoting positive behaviour through proactive, restorative and child-centred approaches.Helping pupils develop practical strategies to manage challenges, build resilience and become more independent.Monitoring, recording and evaluating the impact of interventions and adapting support where appropriate.Building positive relationships with pupils and acting as a consistent, encouraging role model.Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, families and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure consistent support.Promoting inclusion and encouraging pupils to participate fully in classroom activities and wider school life.About YouThe ideal Inclusive Coach / Intervention Specialist (SEN) will have knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and experience supporting children or young people with SEN. You will be compassionate, patient and reflective, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs.You will be confident building strong relationships with children, working independently and contributing effectively to a wider multidisciplinary team.
