Job Description
Step into a rewarding position serving students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational setting near Moreno Valley, CA. You’ll provide pivotal support to a diverse cross-categorical caseload, traveling between school sites and positively impacting students' development across multiple age groups. This full-time contract opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 40 hours per week, allowing you to foster meaningful relationships and make a real difference all the way through the end of the 2027 school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid OT (Occupational Therapist) license required
- Previous experience in schools, home health, or healthcare settings is strongly preferred
- Adaptability and skill in managing diverse student needs across various educational environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with varying abilities at multiple itinerant school sites
- Collaborate closely with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as appropriate
- Actively contribute to a positive, supportive, and engaging educational environment
