School-Based Physical Therapist - Rossville, Indiana

As a Physical Therapist in a school setting, you’ll help students develop, restore, and maintain functional skills essential for learning and everyday life. Your expertise will help optimize student participation and independence across school environments.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience with children or adolescents, particularly in educational settings, highly preferred
• Strong teamwork skills, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and complete necessary documentation
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and support broader school initiatives
• Educate students, families, and staff on mobility, safety, and adaptive strategies

In this role, compensation begins at $43+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
