Bring your clinical expertise and passion for helping young learners thrive by providing speech and language services to a diverse PreK-8th grade population. This rewarding assignment begins August 12, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, offering consistent hours—32 each week across five days.
Your caseload will include approximately 55 students, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and tailor interventions for a range of communication needs. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to help your students achieve their fullest potential throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Current Alabama licensure as a CCC-SLP or SLP-CF (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome)
- Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology and school-based services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct intervention and diagnostics for students PreK-8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for staff by offering expertise in speech-language development and related needs
