Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting early childhood students as a dedicated, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract opportunity is located near Windsor, CO, for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll collaborate closely with a team of professionals, make a lasting impact on young learners, and provide direct supervision to an SLPA. The district is open to a primarily onsite schedule (with a hybrid option considered for those skilled in remote supervision and able to commit to three days per week on campus).
What you'll bring:
- Valid SLP State License and active Educator Certificate
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working as an SLP in a school environment, ideally with early childhood populations
- Confidence in supervising and mentoring an SLPA
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated approach to managing a caseload of 50-55 students
- Ability to adapt to both in-person and hybrid service models as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse early childhood caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student achievement
- Supervise and support an SLPA, ensuring high standards of care
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and district initiatives
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet individual student needs
