Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience as an RN in a school environment required
- Previous critical care experience highly desirable
- Ability to provide documentation of licensure and certification
- Submission of an updated resume as part of the application process
- For this position, LPNs will not be considered
Role Overview:
- Provide direct, 1:1 care to a young student requiring oxygen during school hours
- Monitor and respond to the student's medical needs with expertise and compassion
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the student’s family to ensure seamless communication
- Document care and maintain health records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support a safe, nurturing school environment for a child with complex health needs
Schedule Details:
- Contract position spanning from August 13, 2026 to May 28, 2027
- Work hours are Friday mornings, 8:45AM–11:45AM, offering valuable part-time flexibility
