Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Full-time placements are available at both a preschool and a middle school, providing valuable services across different age groups. This assignment is to cover a Leave of Absence, with a start in mid-October and flexibility regarding the end date. Qualified professionals will work on-site with a supportive school community dedicated to student enrichment.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, active California SLP license
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or working with children and adolescents
  • Commitment to fostering communication and language development
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work on-site across two school locations

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in preschool and middle school
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare concise reports documenting student growth
  • Support students across a range of communication disorders
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant school, state, and federal policies
