Classroom Aide | Chester, Pennsylvania

Make a difference each day supporting students in a dynamic educational environment! We are seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals for full-time contract positions assisting K-12 students within a school setting through June 12, 2026. This role focuses on providing 1:1 support and small group assistance, addressing a variety of student needs including educational support, behavioral management, and daily living tasks.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in school-based settings, preferably working with students with special education (SPED) and behavioral challenges
• Able to handle situations involving elopement issues and behavioral interventions
• Comfortable assisting with toileting, diapering, and personal care as needed
• High school diploma required
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be able to complete or obtain PA clearances
• Confident managing a K-12 caseload in an urban environment
• Reliable transportation for onsite work
• Strong references from previous educational roles
• Willing to disclose district assignment prior to placement
• Effective communicator, comfortable participating in a Zoom interview

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support to students, adapting to changing needs
• Provide educational and behavioral assistance under the direction of classroom teachers and specialists
• Support classroom management, ensuring a safe and positive learning space
• Address daily living needs, including hygiene and mobility support
• Contribute to IEP goal implementation and collaborative team planning
• Foster relationships that encourage academic success and emotional well-being
