Pharmacist | Norfolk, Virginia

A healthcare facility in Hampton, VA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for an 8+ week contract assignment starting August 10th. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing consistent daytime hours in a retail and long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners
• Provide clear, informative guidance to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and safety
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and ensure adherence to prescriptions

Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Pharmacist License is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success in this role
