Wellfield Services Technician

Location: Lost Creek Project (North of Rawlins, WY)

Position Summary

The Wellfield Services Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements to support wellfield production and efficiency. This role works from prioritized assignments to help meet operational goals.

What Youll Do

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair wellfield mechanical equipment
  • Remove and replace submersible pumps and motors
  • Service wellhead equipment including valves, meters, transmitters, and piping
  • Operate instruments to collect and monitor wellfield data
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools for maintenance and repairs
  • Perform mechanical integrity testing (MIT) on wells
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed (forklifts, loaders, pulling units, etc.)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supply inventory
  • Record maintenance activities and support compliance documentation
  • Assist with leak detection and DDW system maintenance
  • Follow safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules

What Were Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid drivers license with insurable driving record
  • Experience with mechanical systems, water wells, or similar equipment preferred
  • Basic computer and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to read instructions and perform basic math calculations

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs)
  • Climbing, kneeling, and working around industrial equipment
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and typical industrial conditions
