Location: Cincinnati, OH 45226 | Niles, MI 49107
Duration: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Field-based position with early mornings, travel, and outdoor work
Pay: $20-23/hr

Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety focused
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Comfortable with travel and physically demanding outdoor work
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in farming, construction, landscaping, excavation, or operating large machinery
Job Overview: Join a national engineering firm supporting construction, transportation, environmental, and infrastructure projects. This hands-on field role assists drilling crews with subsurface exploration activities. Responsibilities include traveling to project sites, loading and maintaining equipment, collecting soil and rock samples, supporting drilling operations, documenting field data, and following strict safety procedures. No prior drilling experience is required. Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn are key to success in this role.
Compensation:
$20/hr to $23/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
