Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting students for the entire academic year as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. Collaborate in a dynamic school setting, addressing the diverse needs of a vibrant student population. Two full-time psychologist positions are available, including a special opening for a bilingual professional to further enhance equitable services for multilingual families.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification, with credentials meeting local and state requirements
  • Experience working in educational environments, with a thorough understanding of psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged for one of the available roles, particularly those proficient in Spanish
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and the ability to support diverse learners and their families
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for referred students
  • Develop and implement individualized plans and supports to foster student success
  • Provide counseling and mental health interventions as needed, both individually and in groups
  • Consult with educators, families, and other support staff to develop collaborative strategies addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP meetings, providing expertise in learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
