School Speech Language Pathologist - Gilbert, AZ

This full-time contract position runs from October through the end of the school year, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. With a manageable caseload of 50-70 students ranging from pre-kindergarten to 6th grade, you’ll have the opportunity to foster communication skills across a diverse age group.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Collaborative spirit to work effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for speech and language disorders
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and multidisciplinary team discussions
