Special Education Teacher in Surprise, AZ

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
• Possess a current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FPCC)
• Experience in preschool or early childhood special education preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Enthusiasm for partnering with families and school teams

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized instruction to preschool students with diverse learning needs
• Adapt curriculum and activities to ensure access, engagement, and progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and update educational plans as necessary
