Speech Language Pathologist in Anoka, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in Minnesota
• Prior school-based experience or pediatric work preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop rapport with students, teachers, and families

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication delays or disorders in a school-aged population
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Conduct therapy sessions individually and in small groups
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional input for student plans
• Collaborate closely with educators and families to facilitate carryover of strategies
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and develop resources as needed to support school initiatives
