Two skilled professionals are sought to provide direct support in school settings in the New Hope area from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027. Work fully onsite as a vital resource for students, collaborating closely with educational staff and families to promote emotional well-being and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active State Social Worker Licensure/Certification required
- Experience providing social work services in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving caseload assignments post interview
- Comfortable working onsite across various school locations
- Confident in maintaining student confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver social-emotional interventions and support to students
- Assist in crisis intervention and coordinate care with school personnel
- Consult with teachers, administration, and parents to address individual student needs
- Maintain detailed and compliant student records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to positive school culture
- Advocate for students’ mental health and connect families with community resources
- Respond promptly to evolving needs as caseloads are assigned
