What we’re seeking:

  • Valid Social Work license for the state of Minnesota
  • Experience as a School Social Worker or related setting
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of current best practices for supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational skills for maintaining documentation and case notes
  • Flexibility and compassion when navigating diverse student backgrounds

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students
  • Develop and implement interventions and supports to address students’ emotional or behavioral challenges
  • Connect families and students with appropriate community resources
  • Maintain student records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
  • Partner with teachers and staff to design strategies for student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and participate in threat assessments as needed
  • Advocate for students and help foster a safe, inclusive school atmosphere
