Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligible for licensure)
- Previous school-based experience, pediatric focus, or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy modalities
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy to students individually or in groups, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintain thorough records and track student progress toward goals
- Adapt therapy approaches for remote delivery, when required
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers to support classroom communication strategies
