Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Salem, NJ

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligible for licensure)
• Previous school-based experience, pediatric focus, or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Familiarity with both in-person and teletherapy modalities
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapy to students individually or in groups, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
• Maintain thorough records and track student progress toward goals
• Adapt therapy approaches for remote delivery, when required
• Provide consultation and resources to teachers to support classroom communication strategies
