As a valued member of the counseling staff, you will serve students across various grade levels, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs through individual and group counseling sessions. Your insights and intervention skills will be key in helping students navigate challenges and realize their full potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with school counseling or social work endorsement (active and in good standing)
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
  • Flexibility to adapt to a diverse caseload and multitasking environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual, small group, and classroom guidance activities tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Participate in school team meetings and contribute to IEP processes when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of services

This full-time role runs from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027. The workweek totals 35 hours, following a school day schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
