School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hyattsville, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Active Maryland SLP license (to practice in schools)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience in school-based settings highly valued
• Ability to work onsite—remote roles are not available
• Open to recent graduates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation following district protocols
• Serve assigned caseloads at one or more schools, with flexibility to combine assignments for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week)
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student progress
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities as available
