Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license (to practice in schools)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Ability to work onsite—remote roles are not available
- Open to recent graduates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation following district protocols
- Serve assigned caseloads at one or more schools, with flexibility to combine assignments for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week)
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities as available
