In this position, you will utilize your expertise as an SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and conduct comprehensive evaluations. Your leadership will ensure the highest standards of care and compliance, while your assessment skills will help shape tailored interventions for students with communication needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credential
- Demonstrated experience supervising SLPAs, preferably in a school setting
- Strong background in conducting and interpreting speech/language evaluations
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor onsite SLPAs, providing guidance and support with caseload management and intervention techniques
- Conduct thorough assessments and deliver insightful evaluations for students requiring speech/language services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize each student’s progress
- Maintain detailed records and ensure all documentation meets professional and regulatory standards
