Empower young learners and make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working on site at a school near Santa Clara, CA. You'll play an essential role in helping students achieve their communication and academic goals through evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in the state of California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or clinical fellowship year (CFY) status
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
  • Ability to tailor strategies and interventions to students’ individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions to address identified needs
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families for comprehensive student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to educational teams
