This contract role offers Speech Language Pathologists the opportunity to make a direct impact across a diverse PK-12 student population for the upcoming academic year, working exclusively onsite from August 6th to May 28th.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas (or eligibility)
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status accepted
- Experience with school-based caseloads or comparable pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skillset in designing IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and facilitating small group or individual sessions
- Flexibility to serve pre-K, elementary, middle, or high school students (grade-level assignments will align with your strengths and preferences)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 60 students, delivering services aligned with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations, ensuring accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Develop engaging, evidence-based interventions for diverse learners
- Serve across 1-2 assigned campuses, which could include early childhood, elementary, middle, high school, or transition/hospital-based classrooms (based on your preference and expertise)
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and help foster a collaborative, student-centered approach
