School Psychologist in Cottageville, SC

Step into an impactful role supporting students and staff in a dynamic school environment as a contract provider for the remainder of the academic year. This opportunity begins April 5 and runs through the end of the school year. You will work with two elementary schools (grades 1–5) and one middle school, partnering closely with administration, educators, and families to promote student success.

In this position, the primary emphasis is on consultations, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, managing and updating Section 504 plans, conducting reevaluations, and providing guidance to both students and school teams. The anticipated caseload includes approximately six active 504 plans and six reevaluations, with the potential for more initial evaluations to develop as new referrals arise.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, valid license as a school psychologist
• Prior, relevant experience working in school-based settings
• Strong communication and consultation skills with both students and educational teams
• Ability to manage deadlines and caseloads efficiently
• Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
• Commitment to supporting equitable access and positive outcomes for all students

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in student consultation, 504 plan meetings, and reevaluations
• Provide expert recommendations to support student learning and well-being
