Step into a rewarding contract role as a dedicated school psychologist supporting K-5 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Starting on August 31, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027, you’ll provide vital psychological services and guidance to students while working closely with educational teams. The position is structured for a 34-hour work week, spread across five days, with the opportunity to make a significant impact in a collaborative setting. You will work with a caseload of students to be determined, ensuring individualized attention and support.

Key Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential/certification required
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience providing assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies for elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and parents
  • Familiarity with current best practices in special education and response to intervention (RtI)
  • Ability to adapt to diverse school environments and student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for K-5 students as assigned
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention for students experiencing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and well-being
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
