Step into a rewarding school-based contract position dedicated to supporting students’ growth and development! We’re seeking experienced Occupational Therapists for two roles: one full-time, full school year (FSY) assignment and one full-time maternity leave coverage, anticipated to start in August and extend through March. Both positions serve K-12 students with a wide range of disabilities. Responsibilities may be itinerant across sites, offering daily variety and the opportunity to independently manage your schedule based on district needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Occupational Therapy license in California is required
  • Hands-on experience within California school settings
  • Proficiency in administering BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students ages 3-22 with multiple disabilities
  • Strong data-driven approach to supporting IEP recommendations and addressing parent concerns
  • Self-directed professionals comfortable working independently with minimal district support
  • Fluent Spanish speakers highly encouraged to apply (not required)
  • Experience working with caseloads spanning mild to severe needs in K-12 populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessment, direct intervention, and consultation for a fluctuating caseload
  • Complete thorough evaluations, write detailed reports, and deliver findings using assessment data to present and advocate needs
  • Collaborate remotely with educational professionals and families to ensure high-quality services
  • Independently develop and adapt your daily schedule to match dynamic district requirements
  • Travel between multiple schools as needed in an itinerant role
