Job Description
Step into a dynamic school-based contract role designed for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists. This position is based primarily at an elementary setting, with occasional support needed at an additional site. You will work directly with a manageable caseload of 51 students, providing impactful services that shape communication skills during formative years. The schedule follows standard school hours—8:10 am to 4:10 pm—comprising a total of 37.5 hours each week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience working with school-aged, particularly elementary, populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement tailored therapy for a diverse caseload of elementary students
- Provide direct treatment services in accordance with student IEPs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support the overall educational success of students
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in team meetings as required
- Offer assistance at a nearby campus as needed, supporting continuity of care
