Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Carmel, IN

Step into a dynamic school-based contract role designed for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists. This position is based primarily at an elementary setting, with occasional support needed at an additional site. You will work directly with a manageable caseload of 51 students, providing impactful services that shape communication skills during formative years. The schedule follows standard school hours—8:10 am to 4:10 pm—comprising a total of 37.5 hours each week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience working with school-aged, particularly elementary, populations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement tailored therapy for a diverse caseload of elementary students
• Provide direct treatment services in accordance with student IEPs and educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support the overall educational success of students
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in team meetings as required
• Offer assistance at a nearby campus as needed, supporting continuity of care
