Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP license (required)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in school-based and pediatric settings
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to K-12 students, designing individualized plans based on IEP goals
  • Administer evaluations and interpret results to determine eligibility for speech-language services
  • Participate in the IEP process by attending meetings and contributing to the development of educational goals
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Offer support and resources to teachers and families to promote carryover and communication success beyond therapy sessions

Starting August 10, 2026, and extending through May 28, 2027, this full-time opportunity involves 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role is compensated at a pay rate of $50 per hour, reflecting the value of your specialized skills and commitment.
