This engaging contract role runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, offering a chance to work a steady Monday through Friday schedule for 37.5 hours weekly. Serving a caseload of 55-60 students, you’ll play a vital role in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse learners.

In this position, bilingual fluency in Spanish is essential, as you’ll provide services to a dynamic community with a wide range of communication needs. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas SLP license (active and in good standing)
  • CCC-SLP or CFY certification welcomed
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, specifically working with pediatric and K-12 populations
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55-60 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver therapy individually and in small groups
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student achievement
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
