Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Arlington Heights, Illinois

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• SLP-CCC or CFY status accepted
• Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within elementary schools
• Strong understanding of IEP development and goal tracking
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary student caseload
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
• Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging therapy environment for all students
