Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (SLP roles)
- Valid state licensure and appropriate certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred; CFY candidates encouraged
- Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- SLPA candidates must hold relevant state licensure and education
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups, both on-site and via teletherapy
- Document progress, prepare IEPs, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support students outside of sessions
- Supervise SLPA staff (if applicable, depending on qualifications)
- Stay current on best practices and continuing education
