Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement (Ages 5-21)
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with affective needs preferred
- Ability to manage an elementary caseload with patience, creativity, and empathy
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Commitment to professional excellence, organization, and timely documentation
- Must be able to complete the district contractor packet promptly
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and behavioral support to students in an affective needs program
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals and learning styles
- Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and parents to promote student success
- Foster a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
- Collect, analyze, and report data on student progress and engagement
- Engage in professional development and district trainings as needed
