Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving schools in Washington and Greene County. Two full-time, onsite openings are available for skilled SLPs who are committed to fostering communication growth in diverse educational settings. This contract role lets you collaborate with educational teams, provide individualized therapy, and support student success throughout the entire academic year.

Ideal background and experience:

  • Current SLP-CCC certification, licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Valid PA SLP Educator Certificate required
  • Previous experience within school environments highly desirable
  • Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Ability to adapt interventions for students from varied backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Comfortable traveling between assigned school locations (commute readiness required)

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to assigned caseloads (approximately 50 students)
  • Complete assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
  • Document services according to school policies and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in required August training sessions and ongoing professional development
  • Serve at specific school sites depending on assignment—including Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and Waynesburg locations
