The assignment runs from August 13th through June 11th, offering a fulfilling academic year experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, & Hearing OR California credential authorizing services as a Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Only onsite applicants will be considered, as this position does not offer virtual or hybrid flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to maximize student success
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to positive team dynamics
