This contract position is designed for professionals eager to support a diverse student population in a rewarding, part-time role for the 2026-2027 school year. Your assignment begins in early August and continues through late May, providing structured, predictable hours while allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

In this role, you’ll benefit from guaranteed weekly hours and receive compensation for both direct and indirect services. Your focus will remain entirely on supporting student communication needs—there are no additional non-clinical duties such as bus or parent pick-up responsibilities. Travel therapists are also eligible for stipends.

Ideal candidates bring experience in schools and have, or are seeking, their SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential. Fluency in English and Spanish, and a passion for serving bilingual populations, is highly valued.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY designation
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy for K-8 students
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Deliver services within designated contracted hours
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
