Job Description

This contract opportunity is based near Belleville, IL, and offers a well-defined schedule with a full-time workload. Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement is required. Applications without a valid PEL cannot be considered.
- Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience in schools or educational settings preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, consultation, and communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other specialists.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support for students as needed.
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement effective interventions.
- Maintain thorough, confidential records according to district and state guidelines.
- Participation and attendance required from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
- Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
