School Psychologist - Belleville, Illinois

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement is required. Applications without a valid PEL cannot be considered.
• Certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in schools or educational settings preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, consultation, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other specialists.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support for students as needed.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement effective interventions.
• Maintain thorough, confidential records according to district and state guidelines.
• Participation and attendance required from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
• Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
