Step into a rewarding contract role supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This long-term substitute assignment spans from September 13, 2026, through February 5, 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference within a dynamic school community. With a full-time schedule and responsibilities centered at a single school site, you’ll be able to build strong relationships and deliver consistent support to your students.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license for schools
  • Previous experience as an SLP in a school-based setting—preferably with high school students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • The ability to adapt to varied student needs and develop targeted therapy plans
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to a high school caseload
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and school staff
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing as an active member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Supporting and educating teachers, staff, and families regarding speech/language development and strategies
