Job Description
Speech and Language Pathologist Position: Phoenix, Arizona
We are seeking a qualified SLP to work with a fantastic school district. The school would like to hire a speech and language pathologist to assist the children in the district in overcoming the difficulties associated with speech impairment for the current school year. The therapist will be working with a high school caseload.
Job responsibilities:
Determine if students are eligible for services in the areas of articulation/phonology, abnormal voice, fluency, and language.
Review IEPs at least annually and conduct initial and re-evaluations.
Schedule and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions.
Meet and confer with teachers and parents about methods and techniques for dealing with special problems and adjustments to education programs for communicative difficulties.
