Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students through skilled Speech-Language Pathology services for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Two distinct positions are available: one full-time role covering the entire academic year, and another part-time assignment (0.8 FTE) providing maternity leave coverage from August 19 to September 30. Both roles are situated in an engaging and supportive school environment near Loveland, OH.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for school-based SLP practice
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs within a collaborative educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans individualized to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain detailed, timely documentation
- Provide training, resources, and consultation for staff and families when appropriate
- Actively participate in school meetings, IEP team sessions, and professional development
