Job Description

This contract opportunity allows you to utilize your training as an SLP, whether you’re an experienced CCC-SLP or a recent graduate pursuing your CFY, fostering communication skills that help shape young lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a range of needs, from articulation and fluency to language and social communication
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support generalization of skills within the classroom and at home
- Maintain clear, accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
