Step into a meaningful role supporting students with unique needs during the 2026-2027 school year as an Autism Support Interventionist (ASI) or Emotional Support Interventionist (ESI). These contract positions are perfect for professionals passionate about making a difference in structured, behavior-focused educational settings. The assignments begin with a brief orientation in early August and follow the school calendar, offering the chance to work 32.5–35 hours per week in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Human Services, or a related field preferred; Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience
  • At least one year (three years preferred) working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional or behavioral disabilities, ABA, or behavioral health
  • Experience in school-based special education, residential treatment, or mental health/crisis intervention is highly valued
  • Strong skills in behavior management, de-escalation, and trauma-informed care
  • Ability to stay calm and consistent in high-stress, structured environments
  • Experience collecting data and implementing individualized support plans
  • Reliable, collaborative, and professional work ethic
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and behavior specialists to deliver direct support
  • Implement individualized behavior and academic plans
  • Manage challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies, de-escalation techniques, and trauma-informed practices
  • Foster relationships with students while upholding professional boundaries
  • Assist with daily routines, academics, and personal care as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation for student progress and behavior tracking
