Job Description
Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students from kindergarten through age 22. In this mission-driven contract position, you'll provide hands-on behavioral support for a diverse caseload of 20 students, collaborating closely with classroom educators and an RBT to help every student reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- BCBA credential, current and in good standing.
- Background in therapeutic day schools or similar environments strongly desired.
- Experience managing severe behavioral challenges.
- Familiarity with QBS Safety Care protocols highly advantageous.
- Capable of safely pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver proactive behavioral support in classrooms, engaging directly with teachers and staff.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Supervise and mentor an RBT, ensuring high-fidelity implementation of behavior plans.
- Lead weekly behavior team meetings to support instructional staff with best-practices and ongoing consultation.
- Collaborate with the principal and other school professionals to assist with additional behavior-related duties as needed.
- Remain an active resource on the latest behavioral methodologies and interventions.
