\n About this role \n
\n Deliver Critical Imaging in a Fast-Paced Urgent Care Setting \n Join our urgent care team as a Radiographer (X-Ray Tech, Radiology Tech), where your expertise helps providers quickly diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries and conditions. In this dynamic, patient-focused environment, you'll perform diagnostic imaging while collaborating closely with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care. \n Reporting to the Urgent Care Practice Manager and Radiology Section Leader, and working under the clinical guidance of physicians and radiology leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering timely, accurate imaging that supports patient outcomes. \n What You'll Do \n

- \n
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging using ionizing radiation in accordance with safety and quality standards \n
- Capture high-quality images of bones, tissues, and organs to support diagnosis and treatment \n
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety \n
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care and workflow \n
- Maintain and operate radiology equipment, including PACS and RIS systems \n
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) \n
- Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements \n
- Assist with general clinical flow and support team-based patient care \n

- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) \n
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college \n
\n
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred \n
- Urgent care or emergency department experience is a plus, but not required \n
\n
- \n
- ARRT (R) certification required, or registry-eligible with certification obtained within 6 months of hire \n
- Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiographer license required \n
- Current BLS certification required within 3 months of hire \n
\n
- \n
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and radiation safety \n
- Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems \n
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) \n
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including medical terminology \n
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive or escalated situations \n
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities \n
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment \n
- Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate, patient-focused approach \n
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information \n
