We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our well-established team at Great Lakes Physician Practice, which is part of an integrated health system. This position focuses on providing exceptional general orthopaedic care in a community-oriented environment in Western New York, with a preference for adult reconstruction.
Team and Support- Established Team: Collaborate with two seasoned orthopaedic surgeons at UPMC Chautauqua, recognized as a Center of Excellence for Orthopaedics.
- Advanced Practice Provider Support: Benefit from a dedicated team of seven APPs assisting in various settings including the office, operating room, and hospital.
- UPMC Affiliation: Gain access to a broader network of specialists and resources, with UPMC Hamot providing essential administrative and business support.
- Technology: Utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record system across the health network.
- Referral Base: Enjoy a strong primary care referral network that ensures a steady patient volume and continuity of care.
- Modernization & Growth: Engage with robotic assistance and benefit from ongoing investments, including significant upcoming renovations to the operating room and recent upgrades in radiology.
- MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
- Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program
- American Board Eligible or Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to secure an unrestricted New York Medical License and obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
